Stockholm - The Swedish cabinet Thursday approved tougher measures to stave off hooliganism that has marred several sports events, including football matches.
A special panel of jurists was to review the legislation that includes allowing police to ban troublemakers from entering an arena. Such a temporary entry ban could be expedited on the spot, as opposed to current rules that sometimes take several weeks to expedite. Read more »
