London, May 17 : Spanish keeper Pepe Reina will not quit Liverpool as he wants to be part of coach Kenny Dalglish’s revolution.
Raina was worried about the direction the club was heading in, but Liverpool’s spectacular improvement under Dalglish persuaded Reina that he should be in it for the long haul.
“The mood is optimistic. The owners are preparing a big summer and hopefully the players that come in will improve us,” The Sun quoted him, as saying.
“Everything has changed around regarding the situation at the club. My family were really desperate to stay, they are really happy here,” he said.
“But in December and January most people were doubting the future because we were not good enough. We knew how much work had to be done.
“I believe we are now heading in the right direction. Next season will be more positive and I want to be part of that,” Reina added. (ANI)
