London, July 7: Brazilian forward Ronaldinho has rejected a staggering 200,000 a week offer from Manchester City.
The Sun quoted A C Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani as saying that Manchester City was in a position to sign on Ronaldinho, who currently appears for Barcelona, but the Brazilian striker has made it clear that his first preference is San Siro, and if that does not work out, Phil Scolari's Chelsea is the second option.
"Ronaldinho has rejected the offer of Manchester City despite them offering twice as much as we can. He is not in the plans of Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola, so he has a more favourable price. But the problem is the wages. For us to be able to afford him, the transfer fee would have to be close to nothing," the tabloid quoted Galliani, as saying.
He also said that A C Milan has not given up hope of signing Ronaldinho later this summer. (ANI)
