Ronaldo 'done and dusted', Real Madrid boss tells Nadal

London, Cristiano RonaldoJuly 9: Spanish football club Real Madrid’s president, Ramon Calderon, has told Wimbledon Champion and Real Madrid fan Rafael Nadal that Manchester United ace Cristiano Ronaldo has already been bought. (Join Cristiano Ronaldo Fan Club)

Calderon and Nadal spoke just hours after the latter had beaten Roger Federer in their Centre Court final epic on Sunday.

Confirming that Real Madrid is not ending their 70-million pound pursuit of Ronaldo despite Manchester United insistence that they will not sell, Calderon was quoted by The Sun as saying: “Relax, Rafa, everything’s under control and we’ve got him done and dusted.”

He was responding to Nadal’s question “OK, President, where’s this Cristiano Ronaldo we’re supposed to be signing?”

A Spanish onlooker on the grounds of the All England Club witnessed this conversation on Sunday night.

Real are now hoping Ronaldo will bring the saga to an end by publicly saying he intends to quit Old Trafford. (ANI)
