London, Jan 15 : Cristiano Ronaldo has filled David Beckham’s boots as well as his ‘underwear’ in the new shoot for Emporio Armani.
The Portuguese winger was far from shy and was seen flexing an impressive six-pack in a photo shoot for his new role as an Armani model.
The 24-year-old footballer had earlier taken Beckham’s Manchester United No7 shirt and even followed him to real Madrid, reports the Daily Express.
Beckham, dubbed Golden Balls by his wife Victoria, made history for Armani when an advert with him posing in a tiny pair of briefs appeared across a New York department store.
However, while Beckham had an underwear deal with the Italian fashion house, ronaldo will also front the campaign for Armani jeans.
Ronaldo, who is said to maintain his body by doing 3,000 sit-ups a day, said he was “very flattered” to be asked to model for the brand.
Designer Giorgio Armani said Ronaldo had “the perfect physique of an athlete”.
The campaign will launch next month. (ANI)
