London, Dec. 18: England striker Wayne Rooney and his fiancé Coleen McLoughlin are likely to wed in June next year.
“We knew that we wanted to get married next summer but the question was when we could do it. For a while, we couldn’t make any plans because I didn’t know whether I would be playing in Euro 2008 — but when we failed to qualify, as devastating as that was, we were able to come up with some firm dates, “The Sun quoted Rooney, as saying.
Coleen, 21, has reportedly been busy searching for the perfect venue, along with her mum and wedding planner.
“I’ve seen so many places I just can’t make up my mind. I’ve been round England, France, Italy, and I’ve got a few more places to see — one in Ireland and one in England — before I make my decision, and set a date, ” she said.
Wayne told Hello! Magazine: “Coleen’s very much in charge. She keeps me up to date on everything, but it’s very much her decision and I trust her completely to make the right one. I know my place! ” (ANI)
