Wayne RooneyLondon, July 16 : Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney is set to begin talks on a new five-year, 36.4 million pound deal with the Red Devils before the start of the season.

According to reports, Rooney, who is currently on a holiday in Barbados, and United chief executive David Gill will hold a meeting to negotiate the mega contract after July 28.
