Madrid - Spanish giants Sevilla announced on Thursday afternoon that left-winger Diego Capel would be out of action for around a month.
Capel, 20, has a torn abductor muscle in his right calf.
On Tuesday he limped away from the Spain training camp preparing for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers away to Estonia and Belgium - and was replaced by Liverpool's Albert Riera.
Capel will miss Sevilla's forthcoming Liga matches against Almeria, Malaga and Valladolid, as well as the UEFA Cup game against VfB Stuttgart.
Sevilla's Brazilian left-back Adriano is suffering from a similar injury in his right leg, but the extent of his injury will not be clear until tests are made on Friday. (dpa)
