Melbourne, Jan 3 : Stephanie Rice tweeted about being lied to as she finally returned to Twitter after her break up with rugby star Quade Cooper.
She dropped a few more clues about her split from Cooper, which the Olympic swimmer had confirmed on December 27.
The sporting glamour couple had got together in August 2010 after their very public flirtation, both on Twitter and offline. But since December 10 last year, neither mentioned the other on the social networking site, prompting rumours of a split.
Reports had said that it had been coming for a while, and in October they had both moved out of Rice's 1.265 million dollar four-bedroom house.
Soon after the news of their break-up, she posted some `inspirational' quotes on Twitter.
"The worst thing about being lied to is simply knowing you weren't worth the truth," the Daily Telegraph quoted her as saying in a tweet. (ANI)
