Berlin, Jan 26 - Bosnia and Herzegovina international and Hoffenheim striker Vedad Ibisevic signed a long term contract with Stuttgart after the obligatory medical examination, the club confirmed Thursday.
The 27-year-old Ibisevic and Stuttgart agreed on a contract until 2016 with immediate effect. Both sides agreed to maintain silence about transfer fee details.
"I am delighted that the transfer worked out. Stuttgart are a big club with huge potential. I will contribute my part that we can take ourselves back to the top. I especially look forward to the special atmosphere at the Mercedes Benz Arena," Ibisevic was quoted as saying by Xinhua.
Ibisevic joined the German Bundesliga in 2006 when he joined Alemania Aachen but his most successful time was at Hoffenheim where he played 123 matches, scoring 48 goals in five years.
