London, Jan 16 - Newly-promoted club Swansea sent their fans into ecstasy at the Liberty Stadium when they beat London giants Arsenal 3-2 in the English Premier League.
Swansea went down to a Robin Van Persie goal in the fifth minute, but in the 16th minute English youngster Nathan Dyer was fouled in the box by Aaron Ramsey. Compatriot Scott Sinclair slotted home from the penalty spot to give the hosts the equaliser in a match played Sunday.
The home side then showed their class as they out passed Arsenal, a team known for their passing ability. Nathan Dyer in the 57th minute gave Swansea a well deserved lead before Theo Walcott equalised in the
67th minute.
However, Arsenal paid for a loss of concentration as only a minute later Danny Graham scored his ninth goal of the season to take Swansea to 10th in the table.
The defeat meant that Arsenal fell behind in their bid to be in the top-four, four points behind fourth placed Chelsea. (IANS)
