Adelaide (Australia), Jan. 11: South Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait believes some chin music against the Poms starting in Adelaide tomorrow night, could help Australia come out of an off-key summer.
Tait promised to deliver some short barrages to England''s Twenty20 cricketers in the two-game series.
The South Australian tearaway, who will partner fellow quick Brett Lee in Australia''s Twenty20 side, said the shorter formats could bring some joy after a dismal Ashes loss.
"We''ll definitely be steaming in," the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Tait, as saying.
''''They [England] are current Twenty20 world champions, they beat us in the final, so we have got a bit of revenge there,'''' Tait added.
Tait said he and Lee would return the fear factor to Australia''s bowling.
The Adelaide Oval encounter marks Cameron White''s first as national Twenty20 captain, and Tait''s return to Australian colours.
Tait, 27, had elbow surgery in October, and only last week made a comeback for his state in the domestic Twenty20 tournament. He was unconcerned at having bowled only eight overs in domestic ranks before stepping out for his country.
Tait hopes his Twenty20 form will catch the eye of the selectors considering their squad for the 50-over World Cup starting next month.(ANI)
