London, Feb 3 : It has been revealed that professional football player John Terry had portrayed a “blissful” family life during an interview with a magazine, just days before his affair was exposed.
Terry, 29, had joked about how he would never fight with wife Toni, as she has a Black Belt in karate.
“I’ve learned not to get into an argument with her,” the Sun quoted him as joking about his wife’s sporting prowess to the magazine.
The captain of the England national football team went on to talk about how his loving family have supported his career, and he even cosied up to Toni, 28, at their mansion in Oxshott, Surrey.
The couple talked about their hobbies, ambitions and hopes for the future, including their twin daughters Georgie and Summer.
“Bringing up the children is what motivates us. Having kids has reminded us what our parents did for us both,” Terry said.
Toni added: “We understand how fortunate we are as a family.”
Terry also spoke about how his wife and family supported him after he missed a penalty in the Champions League final, and how having a loving family helped him a great deal.
“Terry made out he lived a life of domestic bliss. Now we know it was a lie. Just a big house and a cheating footballer,” a source at the magazine stated. (ANI)
