London, May 2 : Chelsea skipper John Terry has warned Manchester United that his team will overtake them to win the Premier League title.
The Chelsea skipper watched Arsenal beat leaders United that means the Blues can overtake them with a victory at Old Trafford next Sunday.
“I was an Arsenal fan for 90 minutes and now we''ve given ourselves the best possible chance of winning the title again. The match at Old Trafford is now huge for us and for United,” The Sun quoted Terry, as saying.
“We showed them what we’re all about when we beat them at Stamford Bridge. If we had lost that they would have been 18 points ahead of us which would have put them out of sight,” he said.
“So to get the gap back down to just three points shows what we’ve achieved. We’ve never allowed ourselves to stop believing we could come back and United know we will never give up,” Terry added. (ANI)
