London, July 28 : Despite captain Carlos Tevez’s desperation to quit Manchester City, manager Roberto Mancini will welcome him back next Thursday and immediately order him to prepare for life again in a City shirt.
According to the Sun, Tevez has been pencilled in for a series of fitness tests in the morning at the club’s Carrington training base.
He will then report back later in the afternoon for another gruelling session.
Mancini has told his staff that he has no issues playing Tevez, who could now go on to form a devastating frontline pairing with Sergio Aguero. (ANI)
