London, Feb 16 : Chelsea ace striker Didier Drogba is still not satisfied with his performance after scoring 23 goals and wants to do more for the club.
Ivory Coast striker Drogba scored once and set up two more goals as Chelsea moved into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with 4-1 victory over Cardiff.
Drogba is now level on goals with Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney as the two most in-form forwards in England propel their respective teams towards a potentially explosive finale.
"I could have done more. I could have scored a hat trick against Arsenal instead of getting two. The free kick that hit the bar was well taken but I know I should have scored. I am not disappointed, but I had the chance to score a third," the Daily Express quoted him, as saying.
"It's very difficult to score, and every time you take a chance you have to be happy and thankful. But no matter what I do this season, my objective will be to do better. If people say, `He had a fantastic season', I will try to do better next time because that is the way I am," he added.
Drogba felt obliged to issue a public apology to Ivory Coast fans last week after his team, the overwhelming favourites, flopped in Angola.
Drogba puts his run of form down to fitness and experience.
He said: "I am feeling confident in my own game. Maybe that is due to experience and also now I know the league very well. Fitness is important and I have been in good shape. Maybe that is why I have been in such form.
"We did not expect to be coming back from Angola so early. But you have to come back and apply your mind to things. It was 34 degrees out there. Then, you come back to zero degrees here." (ANI)
