London - Tottenham Hotspur, the most active team in the transfer market this summer, signed Spanish goalkeeper Cesar Sanchez from Real Zaragoza on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old is likely to be the second goalkeeper at Tottenham this season, behind Heurelho Gomes, who signed from PSV Eindhoven earlier in the summer.
Former Real Madrid goalkeeper Sanchez, capped by his country just once, will be part of the new-look Spurs goalkeeping unit, after the departure of long-term No 1 Paul Robinson. (dpa)
