Transvestite prostitutes lied about sex-and-drugs-with-Ronaldo

AC Milan striker RonaldoSydney, May 7: Brazilian Police have confirmed that the transvestite prostitutes had lied about AC Milan striker Ronaldo that he had had sex with them and later refused to pay them for the fun.

A senior cop said that there was no sex or drugs involving Ronaldo that night, and that one of the four transvestites might be charged with extortion.

“There was no sex or drugs that night,” the Fox Sports quoted police inspector Carlos Augusto Nogueira as saying.

Nogueira added that the prostitutes cooked up the story of the encounter to try to take advantage of the player's global notoriety.

The prostitutes revealed to the police that they lied because Ronaldo did not want to pay them after finding out they were men, said the police.

When first interrogated by authorities after last week's encounter with the striker, the prostitutes said the player had sex with them and asked them to buy drugs for him. Ronaldo had vehemently denied the accusations, claiming that one of the prostitutes had tried to extort money from him to keep the story to the media. He subsequently said that he had offered to pay the prostitutes even after finding out they were men.

Meanwhile, in a television interview last weekend, Ronaldo said he was sorry and ashamed for his "stupid act." “I made the stupidest mistake ever,” said the three-time FIFA Player of the Year who is recovering from knee surgery. (ANI)
