Kiev, Nov 22 - The European football's governing body, UEFA, is pleased with Ukraine's preparations for next year's European Championship, Markian Lubkivsky, the top organiser in Ukraine, said.
"In recent years Ukraine has made significant progress and we have no substantive reprimand in terms of preparations," he told media Monday, adding that Ukraine has 200 days to solve minor organisational issues, reports Xinhua.
He added that all four stadiums in Ukraine are ready to host Euro 2012 matches.
On security during the championship, Lubkivsky said the Euro 2012 host country makes every effort to ensure the safety of guests.
The Euro 2012 soccer championship, scheduled for June 8-July 1, will be played in four Ukrainian cities of Kiev, Lvov, Donetsk and Kharkov as well as four Polish cities of Warsaw, Gdansk, Wroclaw and Poznan. (IANS)
