London, May 27 : Olympic champion and world record-holder Usain Bolt clocked 9.91seconds to finish victorious with 0.02 seconds ahead of fellow Jamaican Asafa Powell in his first outing in 100 metres this year.
The 24-year-old world record holder was a little ragged but still proved too hot for compatriot Asafa Powell as he claimed Golden Gala honours here in 9.91sec.
Powell finished second in 9.93 as Frenchman Christophe Lemaitre took third in 10sec dead.
It was Bolt's first race since suffering a rare defeat in Stockholm last August at the hands of American Tyson Gay, ending a two-year unbeaten streak.
And despite a poor start - which meant Powell was leading at the halfway stage - he made up the gap to power past his rival, The Sun reports. (ANI)
