London, Dec 13 : England striker Wayne Rooney has nicknamed his Manchester United teammate Phil Jones after a cartoon sex maniac called Glenn Quagmire.
Creepy airline pilot Quagmire, who is obsessed with all sorts of kinkiness, appears in BBC3 hit Family Guy.
The 25-year-old made the dig on a post in his Twitter page after United’s 4-1 win over Wolves.
“Ph1lj0nes aka glen quagmire was brilliant in midfield,” the Sun quoted him as tweeting.
The young defender, however, said that he had “no idea” why he’d got the nickname, but a fan of his hit back at Rooney and said that his mother thought that Quagmire acted more like him than Jones.
“My mum says the way quagmire acts is more like Wayne,” a Jones fan tweeted. (ANI)
