London, Apr. 23 : England forward Wayne Rooney wants to be a part of the best-ever Manchester United team
The Sun quoted Rooney as saying: “When you play you are always looking at former teams and you look at how good they were. You want to be better than them and become part of United’s history. We know what we want to do. I hope we can become the best-ever United team.”
Rooney also reckons winning Europe’s biggest prize would be a fitting tribute to the 50th anniversary of the Munich air crash this season.
“It would be a great achievement for the club and also great for the history of Manchester United,” he said. (ANI)
