Sprint to sell LG Optimus G for $200 from November 11Close on the heels of AT&T's announcement that it will start selling LG's new flagship device - the LG Optimus G phablet - on November 2, at a cost of $200; smaller rival Sprint has recently announced that will also offer the phablet from November 11.

Revealing that the Sprint version of the 4G LTE-compatible LG Optimus G will also be sold at the same $200 price-tag as AT&T, with a two-year contract, Sprint said that the phablet will be available for pre-order from November 1.

While both the AT&T and Sprint versions of the LG Optimus G will boast a 4.7-inch True HD IPS Plus touchscreen and a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, the Sprint model will have a 13-megapixel camera, as against the 8-megapixel camera of the AT&T model.

In addition, the Sprint version of LG Optimus G will also have some distinct software features vis-a-vis its AT&T counterparts. These features will include Sprint ID; several design tweaks; and a packaging of the phablet with LG Tag+ stickers that work in tandem with the its NFC capabilities.

Some of the other attractive features of the LG Optimus G phablet include 32GB of onboard storage capacity; a high-density 2,100mAh battery; microSD slot, Bluetooth, and GPS.

The phablet will run the Android OS version 4.0 `Ice Cream Sandwich' at launch, with the LG UX (User Experience) will enhance it; and will likely be upgraded to the latest Android `Jelly Bean' version in the future.
