Dancer-actress Sudha Chandran is all set to be seen in Malayalam cinema after a long gap. She would be seen as Bala's mother Gayathri in super star Mohanlal's ongoing Alexander the Great, which has already started rolling in Thiruvananthapuram.

North Indian actress Meenakshi Dixit will be seen opposite Bala. Mohanlal also stars in the film but like his recent three movies like Pakalnakshatrangal, Redchillies and Sagar alias jackey, Mohanlal will not be having any heroine in this movie too. It is being scripted by C Balachandran and being produced by V B K Menon under the banner of Anugraha Cine arts. – Sampurn Media
