Superstar Susan Boyle needs protection, says Piers MorganLondon, June 16 : Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan has extended his support to the show's runner-up Susan Boyle, insisting the singer is no less than a superstar and needs protection.

Susan had sparked health concerns after a four-day stint at a rehab clinic following exhaustion after facing defeat in the show's finals.

The 48-year-old recently stunned the crowd at Birmingham with her recent jaw-dropping comeback on the opening date of the BGT tour.

Morgan dubbed the Scottish songbird a "fighter" but emphasised on she need protection after her breakdown.

"Susan''s a fighter - she needs the right people around her. She is a superstar and has to be protected," The Sun quoted him as saying.

Piers added: "Everyone is concerned she doesn''t get exhausted."

Meanwhile, Susan continued to woo crowds back home in Scotland and won herself a standing ovation as she sang West End hits Memories and I Dreamed A Dream at Glasgow''s SECC. (ANI)
