Bern - The Swiss foreign ministry condemned Friday the bombings in Jakarta, calling them "barbaric acts."

The Federal Department of Federal Affairs said in a statement it was "devastated at the bomb attacks in Jakarta, which have claimed numerous innocent victims."

The FDFA expressed "its solidarity with the Indonesian government and people at this difficult time and its sincere condolences to the families of the victims of these barbaric acts."(dpa)
