3M India to pump Rs 60 crore on the setup of second R&D lab in Bangalore

3M India, the subsidiary of $25.3 billion diversified technology focused 3M Corporation, has revealed its plans to invest Rs 60 crore in setting up a second R&D lab in Bangalore.
With the new centre, the company aims to have a R&D strength of about 200 scientists over the next four years from the present 85.
Apart from latest announcement, 3M Company has also decided to spend Rs 30 crore in plant expansion, including Rs 15 crore for the Ahmedabad unit.
Mobile network 3 reveals the tariffs for iPad

Mobile phone network 3 has officially listed out iPad data plans for its UK citizens.
Customers need to pay £7.50 per month for up to 1GB of data use, or £15 for up to 10GB of data use per month. This doesn't involve signing of any contract, which implies one can activate or cancel the tariff at any time.
These tariffs go in sync with other operators as well. Say in case of Vodafone who is offering 1GB of data per month for £10, 3GB for £15 or 5GB for £25, while Orange offers a daily tariff, charging £2 for up to 200MB of data, or a weekly plan charging £7.50 for up to 1GB.
