When it comes to Bollywood, one can choose to be either a good actor or a commercially viable hero. Guess the only one who has struck a balance between the two is Aamir Khan. No, that’s also not true. There is one more name, Shreyas Talpade. Yes, yes, before you say the two cannot be compared, we are not comparing either. Just driving home the point that Shreyas can be a great actor and at the same time a commercially viable hero too.
Remember the famous late Mohd Rafi’s evergreen song, ‘Kya Hua Tera Wada’ or ‘Tum Kya Jano Mohabbat’, where one handsome boy sings these songs. He is Tariq, cousin brother of actors Aamir Khan and Faisal Khan. He was during those considered the hottest guy every girl would dream of marrying. He gave three biggest musicals hits of all time in Yaadon Ki Baraat, Zakhmee and Hum Kisi Se Kum Nahin. Last week we caught him at the grand launch of Ali Reza’s Sheesha Sky Lounge, Andheri. Mumbai, Jan 21- She didn't want to work with Aamir Khan in "Dhobi Ghat", but once he was on board, first-time director Kiran Rao not only enjoyed working with her husband but also got some valuable tips from him. She is however not sure if she will write a script specially for him, although she says he is a "dream producer".
"Aamir told me, 'Don't move on until you've got what you want and once you've got it, don't waste time.' That was his one mantra for me," Kiran told IANS.
Debutante director Kiran Rao's "Dhobi Ghat", which released today, is a personal homage to Mumbai, her dream city.
Dhobi Ghat brilliantly shows all the aspects of Mumbai that has thus far stayed untold.
The busy traffic, the lively street life, the quick life of people, and the grave and driving rains plays an important role in the flick.

The flick features Aamir Khan together with three newbies including Monica Dogra, Kriti Malhotra and Prateik Babbar.

Both the deadly Khans are known to be the best of buddies and have no airs or attitude coming in between them and not even their professional lives with both having an equal amount of popularity amongst cine lovers has been a hindrance to their genuine love and appreciation of each other.
Prior to the discharge of Kiran Rao’s primary directorial project, Dhobi Ghat (DG), her husband, Aamir Khan, and Kiran herself have expressed remorsefulness to the members of the ‘dhobi’ (laundryman) community if they had hurt their feelings. However, as per the two, the reservations of the laundrymen have been amicably resolved.
