ULFA deputy commander-in-chief handed over to BSFShillong, Dec 4 : The deputy commander-in-chief of United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA), Raju Baruah has been handed over to the Border Security Force (BSF).

Baruah surrendered in Bangladesh and was handed over to the BSF officials at the Dawki outpost in Meghalaya.

In the mean time, the founding member and chairman of the ULFA, Arabinda Rajkhowa is ready to hold talks with the center. According to sources, Rajkhowa is in talks about the modalities of negotiations with the intelligence agencies.

In response, the center has said that they will be a given a safe passage.

Earlier on Thursday, television news agenies reports claimed that Rajkhowa has been handed over to India and flown to Delhi, but there was no official confirmation about this. (ANI)
