The U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey has granted the judgement in favour of AstraZeneca, in a case where AstraZeneca filed a lawsuit against the Israeli generic drug maker, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.  

It was a patent lawsuit over AstraZeneca's famous schizophernia drug, Seroquel.

This win has removed the generic competition for the drug. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceuticals Ltd. plans to appeal the ruling made in the U.S. District Court.
