Since 2004, Britney Spears plans her first international tour to promote her new album
” Circus”. She announced in an interview with Z100 radio station that the tour was scheduled for the next year. Her last live public performance at the MTV Video Music Awards last year, received a lot of criticism.
Britney’s latest single, "Womanizer," was released on Friday but "Circus," is scheduled to be released on December 2 -- her 27th birthday. "Womanizer' targets the men and seems to mean 'We know what you're up to.' It's about guys cheating on girls," she said. "It's a girl anthem. That's why I like it. So hopefully the fans will see it that way too!" said Britney
Last year Spears promoted her album” Blackout” by performing in a handful of club shows in Southern California under the name the M+M's. However, she did not venture out on the road to promote the album. “Blackout” had a good chart debut in November 2007 but faded quickly.
Spears was in the headlines for shaving her head, attacking paparazzi with an umbrella and two admissions to psychiatric hospital units. She will be 27 in December and is preparing for a comeback.
