Britney Spears fans had a fantastic day as “Womanizer” was leaked on the internet. The video made its presence felt on Nashville radio station 107.5 The River’s website Friday, September 19th.

A brief clip was recorded when a radio rep from The River previewed it over the phone. The single was set to be released September 22nd. Jive Records' Zomba Label Group is delaying the release for at least another week. This means that radio stations won't be playing it until Sept. 29 at the earliest.

The song itself is a disco-influenced upbeat dance track. As the title suggests it is about the woes of being in love with a womanizer.

Spears’ sixth studio album, titled Circus, is set to be released on December 2nd, Spears’ 27th birthday.

In addition to Spears, Keri Hilson, Sean Garrett, Rodney Jerkins, Guy Sigsworth, Lil Jon, Nate “Danjahandz” Hills, Bloodshy & Avant and Max Martin have also rendered their voices. Dr Luke has written and produced the title track for the album.
