California Goes To Clinton, McCain

Hillary ClintonThere has been a lot of dead reckoning on California. The networks have called California for Clinton.

Several polls have shown the candidates locked in close races in California, the state with the most delegates at stake in today's primaries and caucuses.

Clinton was shown leading 47 percent to 39 percent by the American Research Group's Feb. 1-2 poll.

She was shown up by 10 points, 52 percent to 42 percent by a SurveyUSA poll.

However, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and Sen. John McCain are on the winning track in the California's coveted presidential primaries.

According to the recent reports, Clinton has won, and led by 53% votes to rival Barack Obama's 37%, with 30% of precincts reporting in the Democratic presidential primary, while John McCain had 44% to Mitt Romney's 26% in the state's Republican contest.

In the incomplete results (25%), Clinton has won 53% to rival Obama's 38% votes. She has got total 1,310,68753 votes (53%) and Obama has got 972,16339 votes (38%)

California, the most populous state, has 370 Democratic delegates 170 Republican.
