It’s not just about Americans rather it’s a bad news for the cell phone uses world wide. There are over three billion people all over the world, using mobile phones every single day, and a new study has articulated that cell phone use is linked to brain cancer.
Yes, Vini G. Khurana, an Australian doctor has recently warned that the dangers associated with cell phones could far outweigh those tied to asbestos and smoking.
Reviewing previous reports on the effects of mobile phone usage in medical and scientific publications as well as the popular press, Doctor Vini Khurana, a staff specialist neurosurgeon at the Canberra Hospital and associate professor of neurosurgery with Australian National University Medical School, has penned his 14-month study in his paper, "Mobile Phones and Brain Tumors -- A Public Health Concern," in which he articulates, "There is a significant and increasing body of evidence for a link between mobile phone usage and certain brain tumors. The link between mobile phones and brain tumors should no longer be regarded as a myth."
The author of the study has called on the government and the mobile phone industry to take immediate steps to reduce exposure to their radiation. However, some voices opposite make the findings debatable. Dr. Chowdhary who sees more than 200 brain tumors a year at the Moffitt Cancer Center, says, not one has a direct link to cell phone usage. “Was my aggressive brain tumor caused by me using cell phones over the past 10 years? My answer is no,” said Dr. Chowdhary.
