Clinton’s Penn Win Keeps The Race Alive

Sen. Hillaryhillary_clinton Clinton has kept herself alive in the race, which is still on and hot, scoring victory over Sen. Barack Obama in the Pennsylvania primary on Tuesday. She has certainly survived her elimination, but still needs a couple of big victories over Obama.

According to the latest update, Clinton has won 78 while Obama has won 63 delegates in Pennsylvania uptil now. With nearly 90 percent of the electoral precincts reporting, Mrs. Clinton had 55 percent of the vote to Mr. Obama’s 45 percent.

Addressing the Pennsylvanian voters late Tuesday, Clinton said, "Some counted me out and said to drop out, but the American people don't quit. And they deserve a president who doesn't quit, either. Because of you, the tide is turning."

Speechifying at a rally of his own in Evansville after Pennsylvania denied him a victory that might have made the nomination his, Obama said, "Now it's up to you Indiana."
