Dolphin Jumps Into Boat; Injures 58-Years-Old WomanEdgewater, Florida: A dolphin jumped into the boat, injuring 58 years Barbara Howard, who was hospitalized later. According to coast guards, the woman was accompanied by her family, who called 911 for assistance. Her daughter's boyfriend managed to roll the dolphin back into the water. Barbara had to undergo CAT scan and X rays at Bert Fish Medical center.

She narrates that dolphin had hit her in the chest, besides injuring her face badly. According to Wildlife officials, there are rare cases, in which dolphins leap onto boats. Marine biologist claims that these chances are one in 3 million.

Norman Howard also suffered cuts on his right forearm and right knee and pain in his upper left chest.

Howard discloses that his wife is in good spirits and is awaiting surgery on her left rotator cuff. The Howards are scheduled to come back to Mansfield on Sunday. They are hoping for better luck for rest of the week. The bad weather culminated with a tornado warning Wednesday. That was secondary to the close encounter with a dolphin. Howard said, "It was just an unfortunate accident, when I heal up, I'll go back to fishing.”
