Exclusive photos of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s newborn twins have been sold to entertainment news magazines People and Hello!, for $14 million, with all proceeds going to charity.
People will feature twin babies Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon in an issue to hit news stands on Monday, said spokeswoman Nancy Valentino on Friday.
“We’re thrilled to be able to feature these pictures in People. They will delight our readers who have followed the growth of the Jolie-Pitt family,” Larry Hackett, managing editor of People, said in a statement.
Even before the babies were born July 12 in Nice, France, the speculation had begun regarding the celeb mag which would come out on top of a foreseeable bidding war. The couple ultimately chose settle upon a joint deal between People and Hello!, with Getty Images as the photographer and go-between.
Barely one month old, the Jolie-Pitt twins have become the talk of the town in the celebrity world. Angelina Jolie, 33, gave birth via a Cesarian section at the Lenval Hospital on the French Riviera on July 12. Knox weighed 5.03 pounds and Vivienne weighed 5 pounds.
