It appears that John McCain is all set to edge Barack Obama completely out of the presidential race in the Sunshine State. Well, McCain is having healthy lead over the Illinois Senator in Florida — that’s what the latest Obama McCain Florida pre-election opinion polls indicate.
McCain is enjoying lead over Obama in the latest three Florida opinion polls, released by Kitchens Group, Quinnipiac University, and Strategic Vision, in the current week of August. The polls also show McCain’s lead over Obama surging.

Kitchens Group’s Obama McCain FL Poll, conducted from August 18 to August 21, showed McCain leading Obama by 3 % point — 42 % to 39 % among the registered voters of Florida.
Quinnipiac University’s McCain Obama FL Poll, conducted from August 17 to August 24, showed McCain leading Obama by 4 % point — 47 % to 43 % among the registered voters of Florida.
Strategic Vision’s McCain Obama FL Poll, conducted from August 22 to August 24, showed McCain leading Obama by 7% point — 49 % to 42 % among the registered voters of Florida.
LATEST UPDATE:
But, Mason Dixon's Obama McCain FL Poll, conducted on from Aug 25 to Aug 26, showed Obama taking 1% point lead over McCain. The poll showed Obama leading McCain 45% to 44% among the registered voters of Florida.
