Hillary To Hit The Campaign Again, But For Obama This Time

Sen. Hillary Clinton is hitting the campaign trail again this week, but for Barack Obama this month, making her first solo appearance in Obama’s support, since he won their bruising Democratic nominating battle in June.
"She has committed to doing whatever she can to help elect Barack Obama - campaigning aggressively, whatever is needed, and this is more along that line," said her spokesman Mo Elleithee.
Clinton appeared with Obama on June 27 at a carefully staged campaign rally in Unity, New Hampshire and has already done joint fund-raisers with him.
Hard feelings still seem to prevail though. Bill Clinton on Monday declined to say Obama was ready to be President.
And many of Clinton's most ardent supporters still want her to submit her name for nomination at the Democratic National Convention, which could lead to Obama losing the back up of most of her supporters.
The Daily News previously reported that Clinton has decided not to sign the papers that would allow that to happen.
Clinton will make her first stop at Las Vegas for Obama on Friday, and will then head to South Florida on August 21.
