Sen. Barak Obama appears to be invincible in his home state. Well, Obama is having a big lead over Sen. John Mccain, in the presidential race, in the state of Illinois — that’s what the recent Obama vs McCain Illinois polls show.
Illinois has 21 electoral votes. Obama has been leading in the state since January, and he has well maintained his lead over McCain in the recent Illinois opinion polls. Let’s check out what the latest Obama vs McCain Illinois Polls say.
American Research Group’s Obama vs McCain IL Poll, conducted from September 13 to September 16, showed Obama leading McCain by 6 % points— 51 % to 46 % among the registered voters of Illinois.
Big Ten Poll, conducted from September 14 to September 17, showed Obama leading McCain by 16 % points— 53 % to 37 % among the registered voters of Illinois.
Rasmussen Reports’ McCain vs Obama IL Poll, conducted on September 17, showed Obama leading McCain by 16 % points— 56 % to 40 % among the registered voters of Illinois. According to the poll, Obama is currently given a 95.0 % chance of winning Illinois’ 21 Electoral College votes this fall.
