Big Ten Poll, conducted from September 14 to September 17, showed Obama and McCain statistically tied — 45 % to 45 % among the registered voters of Iowa.  

Quad-City Times/Lee Enterprises’ McCain vs Obama IA Poll, conducted from September 15 to September 17, showed Obama leading McCain by 14 % points— 53 % to 39 % among the registered voters of Iowa.  

Survey USA’ McCain vs Obama IA Poll, conducted from September 17 to September 18, showed Obama leading McCain by 11 % points— 54 % to 43 % among the registered voters of Iowa.  

American Research Group’s Obama vs McCain IA Poll, conducted from September 17 to September 20, showed Obama leading McCain by 7 % points— 51 % to 44 % among the registered voters of Iowa.
