Jack Nicholson’s YouTube Video Advertisement that he created to endorse the US presidential Democratic hopeful, Sen. Hillary Clinton, has really become smash hit online.
The movie star, Jack Nicholson created the endorsement video assembling the clips from his famous film. The video featuring the clips of the three-time Oscar winning star in movies like "Chinatown", "The Shining", “Batman”, “A Few Good Men” is the actor’s way to endorse and praise Clinton's health-care plan and ability to lead the country at a time of war.
YouTube, the video-sharing website has reported that the video has been viewed more than 1.2 million times since it was released on Friday. Of course, the video has been viewed by many because of its form of publicity and Jack Nicholson way of endorsing Clinton.
"There is nothing on this earth sexier, believe me gentlemen, than a woman you have to salute in the morning," Nicholson says in a clip from the 1992 military drama "A Few Good Men."
Using video clip from his 1989 film Batman, Nicholson suggests Mrs Clinton is the more capable of the two main Democratic candidates.
"Hubba hubba hubba, money, money money, who do you trust?" Nicholson asks in his role as the Joker from 1989's "Batman."
Later, in a clip from the 1980 horror movie "The Shining," Nicholson says, "Things could be a whole lot better."
Nicholson’s video endorsing Clinton ends with Nicholson saying he "approved this message".
The video Ad prompted Obama supporters to respond quickly. They released parody comprised of movie clips featuring Nicholson swearing, ranting and throwing dishes.
"Sorry Jack. Vote Obama," the video concludes.
Nicholson is the recent to join Clinton’s bandwagon of celebrities, which include director Steven Spielberg, singer Barbra Streisand and actress Eva Longoria Parker. Meanwhile, Barack Obama is enjoying the support of talk show star Oprah Winfrey, Robert De Niro and George Clooney, and the Republican front-runner John McCain has been endorsed by the superstars, such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone.
