Jackson Aplogizes For 'Crude' Obama Remarks

Jackson Aplogizes For 'Crude' Obama RemarksThe Rev. Jesse Jackson apologized on Wednesday for some indecent comments he made about Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, after an interview with a Fox News Correspondent. These comments were picked up by the Fox News Channel microphone.

Jackson was caught saying,"See, Barack's been talking down to black people... I want to cut his nuts off."

However, Jackson immediately contacted Obama campaign to apologize,
after finding out about the open microphone. Bill Burton, an Obama
campaign spokesperson said, '' The Senator of course accepts Rev.
Jackson's apology."

The incident is one of the several issues which were raised by the
opponents or by Obama's allies, highlighting his relationship with the
African-American community. Obama recently went through a weeks long
controversy, in which, one of his former minister, Rev. Jeremiah
Wright, accused US government for spreading AIDS among the black
community and also referred to some American wartime activists as
terrorists.

Jackson's son, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. of Illinois, also criticised his
father's comments in public. He said that he's deeply outraged and
disappointed by his father's reckless statement about Sen. Barrack
Obama.

Fox news will air the comments in full at 8 PM Eastern Time on the
O'Reilly Factor, hosted by Bill O'Reilly.
