Jay-Z and Beyonce Knowles, who were Crazy in Love and had been dating for nearly six years, finally tied the knot at a reportedly lavish wedding ceremony on Friday (April 4). The Hip-hop couple reportedly got into the wedlock in a star-studded wedding ceremony in New York.

Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter and Beyonce had applied for a New York wedding license, which they picked from Westchester’s Scarsdale Village Hall on Thursday.

The celebrities who attended the Jay-Z, Beyonce wedding ceremony include Coldplay's Chris Martin and his wife Gwyneth Paltrow, the parents of the bride and groom; Beyonce's sister, Solange; Jay-Z's mother, Gloria Carter; and former Destiny's Child pals Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

The news of wedding of the superstar couple was confirmed by a Thailand florist, who arranged flowers for the high profile wedding. Thailand florist confirmed that she shipped thousands of white orchids to the wedding.

"The designer called us a week ago, and we had to move quickly. We used a total of 200 workers to cut and process 100,000 Dendrobium White orchids, and then we hand-chose the best 60,000," said the florist.

According to the US media reports, paparazzi swarmed the rapper's residence in downtown Manhattan Friday night as high-profile stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Knowles' Destiny's Child bandmates, Kelly Rowlands and Michelle Williams, arrived in white gowns. R&B songstress Mary J. Blige, who is currently touring with Jay-Z, gave the couple a shout-out before singing her hit "All I Need" Sunday night at a show in North Carolina.
