The pop star-turned country music crooner, Jessica Simpson, has denied the rumors that she is engaged to , American football star and the Dallas Cowboys quarterback. She said, the claims that she is set to marry her boyfriend Romo, are nothing short of exaggeration.

After her performance at a Nascar pre-race concert in North Carolina on Saturday, 28-year-old Simpson blasted the claims about her engagement during an interview with ‘Entertainment Tonight’.

Though Simpson and Romo have been dating for almost two years, the buzz about the engagement got around courtesy reports that they have been ring-shopping at Neiman Marcus department store.

She said: “Tony and I have not gone to Neiman Marcus - somebody said we bought a ring there - I couldn’t drag Tony in to Neiman Marcus if I tried.”

However, even as she said that engagement or marriage was not on the cards anytime in the near future, she did admit that “all is well” between the two of them.

Jessica, who was earlier married to 98 Degrees singer Nick Lachey, admitted to ‘Entertainment Tonight’: “Life feels really good right now. I don’t really know how much better it could possibly get... I’m beyond the moon and stars.”
