The recent Obama Mccain Kansas pre-election opinion polls indicate that John McCain is really having hefty lead over Barack Obama in the presidential race in the Sunflower State.
McCain is having huge lead over Obama in the two recent opinion polls released by Rasmussen Reports and Survey USA. Kansas has long been strongholds of McCain. The state has 6 Electoral College votes.

Rasmussen Reports' Obama McCain KS Poll, conducted on August 11, showed McCain leading Obama by 14% points — 55% to 41% among the registered voters of Kansas. The poll gave Republicans 95.0 % chance of carrying Kansas in November.
Survey USA’s McCain Obama KS Poll, conducted from August 18 to August 20, showed McCain leading Obama by 23% points — 58% to 35% among the registered voters of Kansas.
