Larry King Confirms Sarah Palin’s Appearance On SNL This Saturday, it will not be Tina Fey as Sarah Palin on ‘Saturday Night Live’ – it will be the Republican vice presidential candidate herself! This news was confirmed by Larry King on Thursday, on his show ‘Larry King Live.’

Talking to Bill Maher on his show, Larry said: “We’ve just confirmed that Sarah Palin will appear on Saturday Night Live on Saturday.” Earlier too in an interview ‘SNL Weekend Update’ anchor, Seth Meyers, had said they would love to have the politician make an appearance on the show.

Meyers said of the Alaska Governor: “The door is open if she would like to come and make an appearance. We heard from her people that she really liked the first time that Tina played her. We haven’t heard from her since then.”

Meanwhile, Fey, who has been widely appreciated for her impersonation of Palin, recently told TV Guide that she would not like to continue the comic act for four years, in case Palin won. Fey said: “We’re gonna take it week by week. If she wins, I’m done. I can’t do that for four years.”

Fey also talked about the bountiful comic content provided by this year’s elections in general, and the candidates in particular.

She told TV Guide: “Election time is always good for SNL, and this is a ‘bonkers’ election. Speaking of Palin, Fey said: “That lady is a media star.... She is a fascinating person, she’s very likeable”, and added: “She’s fun to play.”
