Sen. Barack Obama has maintained his lead over Sen. John McCain — says the latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of the New Jersey voters. The poll shows that Obama leads McCain by 10 % points in the Garden State.

Rasmussen Reports’ latest Obama McCain New Jersey Poll gives Obama 90 % chance of winning New Jersey’s Electoral College votes this November.

Conducted on 4 Aug, the poll shows Obama leading McCain by 10 % points — 52 % to 42 % among the registered voters of New Jersey.

Rasmussen Reports’ McCain Obama NJ Poll also shows that 47 % of New Jersey people trust Barack Obama more than John McCain on economic issues while 40 % have more trust in McCain. 48% of New Jersey voters say that the economy is the top voting issue of Election 2008, while 50% voters say the high cost of gas and travel has caused them to postpone or cancel vacation plans.
