Actress Lindsay Lohan is the latest reason of dispute between Obama and McCain. Reportedly, Obama's camp turned down Lindsay Lohan's offer to do a fundraiser for him on the pretext that she "is not exactly the kind of high profile star who would be positive for us."

Tucker Bounds, John McCain's campaign spokesman grabbed the opportunity to take an aim at Obama’s camp and said, "So let me get this straight -- they turned away Lindsay Lohan, but Barack Obama has friends like unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers and convicted felon Tony Rezko? Maybe LiLo is just too upstanding for Barack Obama."

Lohan recently criticized McCain's running-mate, vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin for her take on gay rights.

"Is our country so divided that the Republicans' best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe," said Lohan of Palin.

"Women have come a long way in the fight to have the choice over what we do with our bodies ... and it's frightening to see that a woman in 2008 would negate all of that," she added.
