Michele Bachmann says she won’t have “mud-wrestling fight” with Sarah Palin

Michele Bachmann says she won’t have “mud-wrestling fight” with Sarah PalinWashington, June 30: Republican candidate for the 2012 US presidential election Michele Bachmann has said that she will not give the media the pleasure of watching a "mud-wrestling fight" between her and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

"They want to see two girls come together and have a mud-wrestling fight. And I'm not going to give it to them," Bachmann told a voter who asked about her relationship with Palin.

Bachmann, who officially announced her run for the White House on Monday, also said that she has "great respect" for Palin.

"I have great respect and admiration for the governor. I appreciate her and I wish her well. I think this race is wide open. We can accommodate all the candidates who want to come in," Politico quoted Bachmann, as saying.

She further urged Republicans to unite behind "the ultimate goal" of defeating President Barack Obama in 2012.

"We are going to stick together and see this thing through," she said. (ANI)
